Do the group members need the app?
No, only the Account owner needs the app.
Do the group members need a cell phone?
No, you may enter a cell phone number, a landline phone number, or both for each member.
Is there a limit to the number of groups I can setup ?
No ! You may setup as many groups as you desire.
Is there a limit to the number of members I may have in a group ?
Yes ! You may setup as many as 15 members to a group.
Can I use my Address book on my smartphone to populate the group members ?
Not at this time ! Currently the phone manufactures will not allow access to your Address book via a 'Web' app. This can be achieved when we convert the web app to a 'native' phone app.
Why is the caller-id for me, the account owner, the Access Number rather than the configured group's caller-id ?
Some cellular carriers (like Sprint and others) will send you into your own Voicemail if your cell number is called with its own caller-id. So, it has to be different for YOU to receive calls. The MEMBERS will see the caller-id configured for the particular group.
Can I save a recorded meeting ?
Yes. Before starting a meeting, tap the On/Off option to indicate On. When you tap the Save Folder from the Recordings page, we will send you an email with a Link. Just click on the Link from your Desktop or Laptop and save the file.
What is the use of the Conference Pin I noticed in the Account setup ?
You have the option to allow traditional call-in conferencing. This pin is used for this purpose. The owner of the account must give out the Pin to only those they choose. Just dial the Access Number shown and enter the pin to enter a new or existing conference.
Why doesn't the Text Message sent to a member that doesnt join, include the Pin?
The Pin is not required for a meeting in progress. Just tap or call the included number to join. If meeting is over, owner of account may not want people to use conference bridge anytime they want.
INSTALLATION NOTES AND USAGE HINTS
Be sure to Save the App as an Icon on your smartphone homescreen. Tapping the icon makes for quick access, and removes the browser controls and gives more room for the app.
ALWAYS navigate the app via the provided buttons in the app. Never by the web browser back/forward buttons, if they appear.
Although you can set the Caller-ID to any phone number for each group, we suggest you leave the default Caller-ID alone. This is the ACCESS number for the member to get back into the Meeting, if they missed the call, or have to leave and get back into the Meeting. If the Meeting is still active, they will not have to enter a pin.
If you miss, or can't take the Meeting Call, you will get a Text message. This text will have the ACCESS Number that you can Call or Tap to get back into the Meeting. Currently the Text will come from the Number 775-237-4737. This is from our Service. You might put this number in your Address Book, so you can identify it when you get a Text from us.
Once you set up a group and call them for the first time, the members may not recognize the Access caller-id number if you left it as the default number we provided. We suggest you give them this Access Number to put into their Address Book, along with the Text Phone Number, mentioned above.
